I've noticed that my 13 year-old son have developed some repetitive rapid eye movements and a compulsive vocalization similar to a brief laugh since using Singular. Has any other reader experienced similar behavioral side effects in themselves or a child they are caring for while using this product?

I suggest that you read more posts and see the videos from this website. . . There are many natural products/alternatives . . .instead of taking drugs that cause side effects.

YES! My son developed a vocal "throat clearing" tic while taking Singulair. Parents have posted on this site and reported to Parents United for Pharmaceutical Safety and Accountability about vocal or motor tics including rapid eye blinking, opening and closing of the mouth, sniffing. Tics and Tourrette's syndrome have been reported to the FDA in connection with Singulair use. Go to www.parentsforsafety.org for more information.

Yes! My son is five, so it is feasable that he has trouble sitting still...but he will be playing quietly or eating dinner...something that requires little movement and then suddenly jerk his head or swing around. I thought he had picked it up from some kid at school, but the more I have read about the Singulair the more horrified I am becoming. I think that it is possible that Singulair is at the root of many of his problems.
