Since insertion I have felt lots of cramping- in between periods, severe cramping during periods, cramping after intercourse...but the most interesting symptom has been numb/tingling/warm feelings like blood isn't circulating properly through my legs - particularly my left one. It pretty much feels this way 100% of the time. This symptom started about two weeks after insertion but I didn't go back to my obgyn until my three month check-up because I was told that those feelings couldn't be related to Mirena. When my obgyn checked me out he felt the strings and said they were normally placed and everything with the iud felt fine and referred me to a chiropractor for the numb feelings. I have seen the chiropractor for four sessions and today is the fifth but I'm sure the feeling is not going to go away anytime soon because even he was surprised to know that his sessions weren't helping my leg feel any better. Also, today I have started to experience weird sharp pains in my hands (causing pain as I type this)....this is enough!!!! I am definitely scheduling an appt to take this thing out. My boyfriend has been begging me to because he is tired of my complaining.
