i went to the doctor for blood work because i was tired all the time, no energy, cold even when it was 80 degrees, and i had breathing problems, so i thought i was anemic. the doc wanted me to have an xray and i got diagnosed with pneumonia. i didn't even know i was sick! so i got prescribed avelox for 10 days 400mg, i feel worse now then what i did before. im extremely tired, i sleep all day, i feel like a stoner, i get dizzy at times and confused. i cant seem to go to bed and iv have dream after dream i even had one about a potato.last night i just started crying about nothing and could not stop then when it was over i just stared off and it was like i was a crazy person. im on the 8th day and im going back to the doctor. oh and im only 18 and i read tests haven't even been done on this drug for 18 - ppl.
Stop taking this drug right away. I took it recently and was just discharged from the hospital because of most of the side effects you are having. But that was only how it started, it only got worse even though I stopped taking it. Since it was already in my body, I developed a potentially fatal syndrome that Avelox is a major culprit of. Stephan Johnson syndrome. Look it up right away and if you are experiencing ANY of the symptoms listed get to a doctor or dermatologist right away. hope all goes well
