I am 21 years old and i had a child 2 years ago. I really wish i would have seen this site before i got mirena, i have had mirena for a little over a week. i have horrible cramping and back pain throughout the day, it almost feels like im going into labor. weird. and i have been taking Motrin for the past week and a half which im sure isnt good for me but it works . and i still have been bleeding ever since. when i had sex it was a little painful. i called my doctor and they said it was normal and it should last no longer than 3 to 6 months ... WHAT !! so this could have been explained before i had it placed.. Thanks a lot. >:-< my side effects are lower back pain, cramping, bleeding, spotting,
