Not trying to put a damper on your day ladies, but you will find when you get it out, your "side effects" wont all go away. Gaining weight?? No It's called as we get older we have to watch what we eat.. Hair falling out? I have had no such thing like that. Ache yes but thats with all birth control, headaches, stomach aches thats with all birth control! The Mirena was the best decision i could have EVER made!
That's great for you but it hasn't been good for the rest of us...and the manufacturer has NOT been forthcoming about the true rate of side effects. For me, the weight came off, the anxiety left, the brain fog cleared and the acne disappeared...none of these has come back! It was the Mirena, pure and simple. At least if you start having side effects down the line, you will at least be aware.
