My husband has been on Remeron for about one year now. He sleeps like the 'dead', so sound, if the house where to catch fire, he would never wake up even with our dog barking. He can barely hear the alarm clock in the mornings. He also sleeps with earplugs, as he says noises keep him from falling to sleep. Also, he has night sweats so badly. He is drenched every night. He takes one 45mg per night, but he has now cut that to 1/2 pill per night and he still sleeps far to soundly and has the night sweats.
