While everyone's experience is different, I can tell you that in my opinion, I think you might be experiencing the side effects of Ocella (generic of Yasmin). I would suggest you maybe do some research into the side effects of this pill, and if you'd like, visit the "Yasmin Survivors Forum"- type it into your search engine and the site will come up. There are many women there who have experienced the same side effects as you, and many women there to offer advice and support.
I wish you the best of luck.

I am alspo on Yasmin and have been for over 4yrs. Just over the weekend I read that that there is a big lawsuit against Yaz and Yazmin for causing adverse effects, amongst those effects, kidney problems and gall bladder damage.....this is somthing you might want to look into.
After reading about the lawsuit I emailed my doctor to see if there was anything I needed to be worried about. Luckily she had ordered some blood work (for something unrelated), and it looks like I am ok for now. Needless to say I have since then switched my OC. Here was the reply I got form my doctor:
"Yes, the class-action law suit against Yasmin (and Yaz) is a big news story. From what I've heard, the majority of the risk resolves as soon as you stop taking the medication. The biggest risk was the blood clotting problem, which can lead to strokes, heart attacks, or a pulmonary embolus. That risk drops dramatically within a week or two after stopping the pills. Your liver and kidney tests were normal, so it doesn't look like it caused you any long-term problems."
My daughter has been off the Yaz for over 6 months and her troubles continue. She, like you, had to have her Gall Bladder removed. What the attorneys have told me is that the Doctors don't know enough about the long term damage from this medication yet. They are just now seeing the effects. My advise as a Mom and as someone who is living with the effects of this med is Stop taking it right away. Find another form of contraception. The recommendations we have seen say you need at least 3 months hormone free, so you may have to use an IUD or something.
