My daughter is 13. We put her on Loestrin to control her extreme cramping. She was always nausea complained and lower back pain. But the most disturbing symptom was EXTREME exhaustion. She could barely make it through a day of school. She would come home and go to bed. I was having trouble getting her back up to go to practice. She would cry like a baby, unusual for her. She said she just felt so weak and tired. We went to the doctor who tested her for mono, anemia, thyroid, and anything else they could think of. All the test were negative. That is when I got on the internet and looked up Loestrin. It was the only medication that she was on. I had her stop the pill that very day. She was herself again in less than a week! I am now afraid to "try" another pill with her. I am just so glad we figured it out!
