Our twelve year old daughter had a severe UTI and was prescribed sulfa. After nine days she developed a hive like rash, temperature of 101, very lethargic, mildly confused and no appetite. We took her to her pediatrician who immediately took her off sulfa and directed us to give her plenty of fluids, rest, and benadryl. We are still going through this with our daughter and will post any new side effects if we experience any.

Unfortunately, drs. continue to push drugs . . even to children. . . .there are many natural products to help health issues.
