I'm 26 I also had the Mirena put in 8 weeks after my 3rd child 04/22/09...I am having all of the same side effects. the migraines, stomach cramps everyday, very heavy period that now last 7 days and when i'm not on it i'm spotting, (exactly when are you suppose to have sex) my discharge now has a funny smell, and I feel angry all the time....I hate it I don't even want to be intimate with my hubby b/c I have these concerns to deal with..I have set an appointment to also have mine removed. Prior to the Mirena I had the Nuvaring and that worked for me..in for 3 weeks out for one, 3-4 days light periods..I will go back on that one.
