I loved alesse when i was on it i has no problems, but then the pharmacy gave me the generic alesse (aviane) and i have had every problem you can think of while on mainly headaches and very, very nausea.

I had to be taken off Alesse because the headaches got really bad and I started to get migraine with aura, which apparently increases your risk of stroke if you are on the pill. So just keep tabs on your headaches and if you get an aura (wavy lines in your field of vision, loss of vision, etc.) then you should probably switch to another pill, or a mini pill like I did.
