So. I have read a lot here about side effects. What have you guys switched to (i.e. what BPM are you taking now)? Who has switched to something else and been pleased with the results? Need specifics please on an alternative.

why even consider switching to another drug? we are too dependent on drugs in this country. how did people keep their BP under control for centuries before there was lisinopril? believe me, the ones who didn't die in childhood from infections lived into a way healthier old age than we are having now with all these drugs at our disposal.
how's your weight? your diet? how active are you? garlic is a potent BP moderator. those italians, greeks and other peoples who naturally eat lots of garlic are not sitting around worrying about what BP drugs to take.
whole fresh raw vegetables and fruits are high in potassium and low in sodium. potassium naturally keeps BP in check. lisinopril and other ACE inhibitors force you to eat foods low in potasium and high in sodium. where's the logic in that? unless you own a drug company, reaping the profits of a sick society, it makes no sense at all.
try walking 1/2 hr a day; try yoga.
these things will control your BP without side effects- unless you count overall general good health, increased strength and vitality as side effects- without doctor's visits and costly, dangerous drugs and will serve you well for your entire life

What is high blood pressure? before designer drugs the gauge for bp was 100 + your age. Why would any 2 persons reading be expected to be the same 60 yr old verse a 25 yr old doesn't make sense. After being poisoned by this stuff I took myself off it, I bought my own blood pressure meter and when i took my bp in bed in the morning I had low blood pressure 116/68 and these clowns had me taking medicine to lower it further. If you are comcerned by your own bp meter take several readings throughout the day. If you want to truly protect your heart take fish oil and ubiquinol COQ10 not ubiquinone. Good luck

There are natural products for high blood pressure issues . . .instead of taking drugs that cause side effects . . . unfortunately, most drs. all they know/care is to push drugs . . .a HUGE racket.
