Glad I found you all. I have a couple questions. I am on 5mg Lisinopril and am already weaning myself off. What other meds do you recommend for blood pressure? Can we just stop taking it? I've only been on it for a couple weeks. I check my b/p daily and it is usually good. So I don't believe I have "high" b/p. I think it went up during pain and stress and my doc decided to keep it in check. I've been getting a lot of headaches and dizziness. I also have MS and Graves disease. So I'm confused and complicated. Thanks

Good that you are weaning off yourself from this drug that cause many side effects . . .there are natural products for health issues . . .instead of taking drugs. Unfortunately, most drs. are drug-happy . . .since that's all they know.

i'mm going to say to you what i say to everyone who askes "what other meds" they can take for high BP- how about no meds? why must every problem be treated with a drug? especially if you don't even think you have high BP!
lisinopril forces you to stick with a diet low in potassium and high in sodium. potassium controls BP. ironic isn't it?
a diet of raw fresh whole fruits, vegetables and grains will help control your BP and probably be good for your MS.
have you ever seen an integrative or complimentary doctor for your MS?
