This is my 2nd time with Mirena. The first time I had no problems and kept it in for 4 years until it was time for another baby. My baby is now 17months old and I've had Mirena for 3 or 4 months now. I hate it. I'm having severe mood swings, crying fits and depression. I haven't been able to eat well or sleep well. I'm considering having my tubes tied after having this Mirena removed. I'm calling my doctor first thing Monday morning to get this taken out. Does anyone else experience severe mood swings as well?
I only have had the Merina in for 2 weeks, but I am experiencing depression like I never have before. I've struggled with depression in the past, but never like this. I just feel like the world is ending and I want to curl up and die. I do currently have my period, so that could be contributing some, but I don't think i've ever experienced anything like this. Should i give it more time? Is this normal? Is anyone else experiencing this? I feel like i'm going crazy.
