gpl . . . . . Sooner or later most people will have side effects from taking drugs. Most posts are great . . where people can share/warn experiences about taking diffferent drugs.

I wish I could give back a few lives that have been lost to this drug. Telling people to "get a life" is ridiculous. It is crucial that people understand that prescription drugs can be harmful. If someone is having side effects and find a similar one posted, it could save their life. Ask a pharmacist and they will tell you that this drug is powerful.

hey gpl, i have a friend who just suffered a levaquin induced stroke. perhaps you'd like to tell her to get a life. she's in the hospital, paralysed on the left side, a women in her mid 50's.
drugs can be good when they are necessary to save lives, when they are science driven and when they are carefully tested. america is way over-medicated, doctors write prescriptions instead of taking the time to learn about a person's illness (time is $$!) and drugs research is mostly profit driven with adverse effects hidden in locked drawers.
the FDA, instead of protecting the people, really serves the interest of the drug companies and by extension, wall street.
it is the goal of drug companies to get every man, woman and child on multiple drugs for chronic conditions, drugs that must be taken for life- that's where the money is.
and if conditions don't exist, you can make them and advertise them- restless leg syndrome? social anxiety disorder? premenstral dysphoric syndrome?
get a life, indeed. many of the people who post here have almost lost their lives and they are trying to prevent others from going through the same thing.
knowledge is power and we, as a nation, have to take back the power over our lives from the pharmaceutical industry!

WE HAD A PRODUCTIVE LIFE BEFORE AVELOX! Perhaps YOU should educate yourself by reading the data on the website fqtoxicityresearchfoundation.org before judging the thousands of Avelox victims!!!! Tens of thousands by now!!!!

Most people take medications on a regular basis and they have some side effects, but they don't complain. The people that have taken Avelox have had very BAD side effects. Some have died. some have gone in to shock, as you can see there are hundreds here on this website and God only knows how many more out there have had serious complications with this drug. I took one pill and wound up in the Emergency room. The fact is the drug is not safe enought to treat illness with and should be banned. There are TOO many people getting deathly ill from it.
