The only major side effects I noticed are...my hair falls out any time I shower, and my skin breaks out. What I am wondering is, every time I have sex the very next day I start to bleed. Is there any way to prevent this? Last, my husband feels the strings from the Mirena and says it irritates him. How in the world do I make it so he cant feel the strings!?

Your doctor can cut them for you.Mine are to short I have never been able to feel them and neither has my husband
