I just stopped taking Yasmin after 2 weeks. I was previously taking Yaz, with no major side effects other than an increase in mood swings. The Yasmin has felt like poison! I had severe abdominal pain, nausea, fatigue, chest pain and a general feeling of being sick. Since I have stopped taking it I am starting to feel better but I feel like my body is still trying to recover. Do not take this pill, please try something else.

Hi Mandalyn:

I just wanted to mention that there is a site called the "Yasmin Survivors Forum" (if you type it into your search engine it will come up in the results list) where there are many women (including myself) who have taken either Yasmin or Yaz and experienced terrible side effects, that are willing to offer support and advice.

I hope to see you there, and in the meantime, I wish you the best of luck and improved health.

Meagan
