Howdy, I was recently suffering with severe constricted airway, probably due to allergies. My Dr. put me on 10 days of 10mg Prednisone, 4 for 4 days, 3 for 3 days.... I was in a fog the whole time. I sometimes had to stop and think, where am I and how did I get here, not good when you are driving down the road. I felt like I had no control over anything. And my eating habits did a 360. I did not want to eat anything other than pastries and drink cokes, which is not typical of me at all! I have been off for about 5 days now and keep getting terrible headaches and muscle aches. I go from feeling like my old self for an hour or so to all of a sudden feeling like I have been beat up and all I can do is just sit around. I don't think I want to ever take this again unless it is absolutely life or death. I am breathing wonderfully now however. I hope these lingering side effects pass soon.
