my grand child is almost 3 year old , he has been on singulair candy for almost 6 month , what we noticed is a noticeable change in his behavior in the form of nervousness , he turned cranky , recently his teacher reported that he is not him as before , his appetite in that good as before , he became nagging while he was a sweet child before singulair .

This child is not compatible with this drug ,and if you are seeing these side effects it is advisable to talk immediately with the pediatrician about an alternative. These side effects do not abate, they intensify and can ruin years of a childs life ,or worse cause the child to be diagnosed with stigmatizing labels.Be proactive as a wise grandparent and advise accordingly. If the symptoms decrease or abate after you remove the drug make a report to the FDA and have the doctor file with Merck and the FDA.
