I'm on my 6th day of Mirena. I just had sex for the first time since insertion. I noticed that the threads are curled up and behind my cervix, rather than to the side where they have been every day. What I'm really writing about is; starting yesterday I've had this lump feeling in my throat. it makes me want to gag and I cannot make it go away. I had this when on Yasmin. I developed a severe allergy to Yasmin and my entire face swelled. But it started with the lump in throat feeling. I have also had ringing in the ears all day, I even have it now. I haven't had that in years. Is anyone/has anyone experienced this side effect? You would definitely know if you have it. It feels like something is in my throat.
