Had a Mirena inserted after baby #2 in June of 09, instantly gained 25 lbs, lost control of my temper, and have been hopeless about future weight loss or family plans. Cannot believe I have acne on my back for the first time in my entire life, keep getting poked by the thing, and DH says the same. Never felt so defeated by life...going to get this thing removed asap; did it in a hurry before I lost my benefits when leaving work, and DH had suggested waiting to see if the non-hormonal IUD would work better, but OB was pushing it & said I'd be fine or would remove it asap. Seemed like it worked like a charm for a while, but now I never know when I'm not on my period because I'm always moody and angry and these crazy side effects are making married life unbearable.
