I am relieved to have come across this site about the effects of warfarin. I am 29 and was diagnosed with a DVT in august of this year after being on OrthoTricyclen-Lo. I was told that I may have to be on warfarin for at least 6 mo.. Since I have been taking it I have gained almost 15 pounds and my hair is constantly falling out. I am usually a very active person, but now I have no energy to even take a walk. I've been eating healthy and having my hair treated but it's not working. I hope to be done with it soon.
