I have been diagnosed as "adult acne" in the facial area. I've been taking Doxycycline for 2 weeks and experienced swollen lips at first, but subsided. Low dosage for skin problems. Also bloating, yeast infection, occasional dizziness and flatulence. Have applied a 60+ sun bloc which helps but the sun is my enemy right now. Never having had skin problems in my entire life -- at the age of 80+ - this all seems a bit much. Is this a new drug?
