I have been on 300 mg x 3 per day of Neurontin (for one month) for severe back pain and noticed I have frequent episodes of vertigo to the point of almost tipping over head first. I also experience staggering (which is embarrassing because it looks like I am drunk), vision problems, tingling in my arms & hands, headaches and problems with my memory. Of course this medication has almost eliminated my severe lower back pain. Hopefully these side effects will subside after I have been on it for a while, as the alternative is prescription NSAIDs which destroy my stomach, or opiates, which are addicting and have their own annoying side effects. I will see how it goes in the next few months.
