I've just started taking Lisnopril, I have Type 1 diabetes and am on Insulin pump. My Dr. told me that I really need to take lisnopril cause my last blood and urine test, i'm loosing protien through my kidneys, and lisnopril if taking can help protect my kidneys, I haven't had any side effects yet, and I should quit smoking as well, but I have tried that so many times I can't tell ya how hard that it is to quit, even with zyban.. I'm also taking other meds for ADHD, Straterra, and Seroquel to help me sleep.. I have had high blood pressure and the last time i checked on a pharmacy blood pressure machine, was pretty high with 100 Pulse rate.. I will report on here if I get any side effects or any good results.. ciao Matt
