Help-my new doc strongly reccomends Lisnopril 5 mg. This is his spelling. I have Type 1 Diabetes and he says this drug is commonly taken by diabetics. I can find no association with Diabetes and this drug on the Internet. My BP was 140-82 when last tested. He didn't seem to be perscribing it for BP. Is Lisnopril a different drug than Lisinopril?
