On Nov 29,04 during the last seven minutes of the MRI, I experienced swelling of my mouth ,throat, lips, Increased heart rate of 190 + Increased blood pressure , hot and beet red skin. drugs given to help were solumedrol, benadryl, IV fluids, and other medication also,ox was administered. I was transferred to the ER and monitered for several hours and I did respond to treatment quickly This was an allergric reaction to the dye that is very rare . there is treatment that can be used before hand. ask about it
