i have received kenalog injections now for about 8 years, (once a year), and have had no side effects. i was eerie about having it done on my hip the first time so i asked for it to be done on my left arm. the doctor did. it was sore for about 2 days, but after that it was fine. i changed doctors about 5 years ago and when i went to her she told me it had to be done on my hip, i told her i wanted it on my arm, after some arguing, she gave in. i haven't had any problems whatsoever. i love it because it has helped me breath better, especially wake up in the morning without having to reach for a tissue and blowing my nose so much and so hard that it would hurt for days.
