I was prescribed Levaquin 500mg for 7 days to treat my sore throat.After taking the second pill , I felt dizzy, my heart- beat increased significantly, I perspired profusely, my mouth and throat were very dry and my urine output was noticebly reduced. I was unable to stand for over one hour. The following day I took the third pill and exactly the same thing happened. I have stopped taking the Levaquin and the symptoms have dissapeared. Hope there was no permanent damage.
