Wow, I'm glad I came across this site. Since I'm allergic to some other types of antibiotics, my doctor prescribed me Levaquin for my URI. The first day I took it...a few hours later...I was laying down, watching tv, and experienced what I guess were hallucinations...I kept thinking my husband came into the room, my dogs were walking by, etc. even though my husband wasn't home, and my dogs were both sleeping by the couch. Later that night, when I finally fell asleep, I had these bizarre, very vivid, somewhat disturbing dreams...since then (that was 3 days ago), I've felt nauseaus all the time, have no appetite, and cannot sleep. After reading these posts, I am NOT taking any more until I can talk to my doctor...I certainly think they should warn you about these side effects before prescribing this for you...I was told there weren't any side effects. :( I've taken a total of 3 doses, but I am not taking anymore!
