Precribed Doxy for bronchitis and flu like symptons. Within hours...

Precribed Doxy for bronchitis and flu like symptons. Within hours of initial dose 2 x 100 mg caps, experienced nausea and vomitting, but worst of all was the pain in oesophagus. This felt like it had been scoured with coarse grade sandpaper and allowed me to swallow tepid water only. After three days stopped taking the Doxy. Nausea and vomitting have stopped but still unable to take solid foods due to pain in windpipe. Am hoping this will subside now I am not taking the Doxy. Horrendous stuff.
