Took Lipitor for five weeks - in that period of time I suffered two migraines, three vaginal infections, rashes on face/fingers/buttocks, dry itchy eyes. My doctor advised me to stop and have lab work done. Lab work was normal and doctor insisted I start the Lipitor again. It's been five days and the headaches, rashes, and vaginal infection have all returned. I'm 43 years old. Anyone else with these symptoms?

Yes, I too have experienced the vaginal infections, thinning hair, extremely dry skin, dry itchy eyes and muscle pain. I'm going to stop the Lipitor and see if there is improvement in its absence. I am 66 years old.

edna3669 . . . This dangerous drug can cause MANY side effects. I suggest that you stop taking it before you have more problems. The drs. and the drug co's are doing a HUGE racket with the anti-cholesterol drugs. . . . big $$$. In reality, your mind/body needs cholesterol to function.
