I'm a 78-year old man, in very good shape for my age, was given Lovastatin 3 months ago. I began to have severe foot, calf and whole-leg cramps, left wrist & back pain -I had not had these problems before. I cut the medicine in half for a couple of weeks, then stopped it entirely a month ago. These symptoms have improved greatly but I still have some of them and I'm afraid there has been permanent damage. Has anyone else had these symptoms? Ray Mac.
