Have been using lisinopril for almost 3 months. Have had a cough for all of that time. The doctor said my cough sounded like it was related to an allergy. I was given Clarinex, but that did not help. I have to keep clearing my throat and cough quite frequently during the day and at night. People have said to me "you should do something about that cough". They think it is a cold and don't want to catch the cold from me. I have also noticed fatigue and when exercising, my muscles seem very weak. I have decided to stop using this drug. It obviously is having adverse effects on my body. I am worried about the long term effects that might be permanent.
