I am very grateful for Cymbalta. It brought me out of a 4-yr cycle of depression. I have taken almost everything and nothing worked. Effexor gave me terrible nightmares and headaches, Prozac gave me insomnia, Depakote and Seroguel caused weight gain. Lorezapem coupled with all these drugs made me sleep my life away. The list goes on and on and on. At one point I was on 10 drugs at the same time. Luckily my insurance changed and so did my Dr. The first thing he did was detox me off of all those drugs. Then he started Cymbalta, gradually increasing the dose. On 09/30/06, it was as if I awoke from a deep slumber. I am happier and more hopeful than I have ever been and would strongly recommend Cymbalta to my fellow persons who suffer with depression, bi-polar, anxiety, etc....
