I've taken 500 mg of Levaquin for 13 days; cut back to 250 mg. Joint pain started about 7 days after start. Gotten so bad, have difficulty walking. First side effects consisted of short term (hours) of rash, intense heat, itching. The pain has gone from knees and elbows to fingers and ankles. Also brusing in legs. Suppose to be on for 7 more days, but have called the doc and told him I'm done with this. I took this med last year for a urinary trac infection and had to get off it then. Told the doc this but he didn't listen. Next time I listen to myself. Pat
