It is possible it is too strong for you.

This happend to me when I was younger. I was in a car accident and they gave it to me for pain. I took it at work and started throwing up uncontrollably, along with other symptoms like you mentioned. I went to the doctor and told him what happend and he gave me some Tylenol with Codine.. Which helped with the pain and didn't make me throw up, but it did make me very tired.

I am taking vicodin now for lower back pain caused by a bulging disc and pinched nerve. I don't throw up because of it but I do get really "hot" and I have some bowel irritability.

Vicodin is a narcotic and should be used with caution, I would ask your doctor if you can take something else.
