Thank God I found this web site! I have only been taking Yasmin for 3 weeks and literally thought I was coming down with some severe illness. My GYN prescribed it to me for treatment of ovarian cysts. I've always had negative side effects on birth control pills in the past and at first I refused to take them, but the doctor kept saying how mild Yasmin was and that I wouldn't have any side effects. Against my better judgement I took it. Here are a list of my adverse reactions: Extreme nausea and indigestion fatigue, worse then I've ever felt bloating heart palpitations and chest pain shortness of breath irritability With all the nausea and bloating my regular doctor figured I was having gall stones and sent me for a nuclear scan of my biliary tract, it came back perfectly fine. I found this site, trying to figure out if my symptoms were from this pill and as soon as I saw they were I quit. I am already feeling better and my palpitations are starting to lessen. I am so glad I found out before I had a bunch of uneeded tests. I lso called the maker of Yasmin and reported the adverse reactions, they are required by law to report the symptoms to the FDA!
