I had my thyroid removed in October, I have been on Levothyroxine for 2 months. In the past 3 weeks I have had a severe headache 24/7, vomiting, nausea, tremors inside, I have been feeling really strange and of course the doctor never even suggested it might be the medication. I am going again tonight to see what he has to say when I bring it up to him. Anyone else out there feeling these symptoms? Please let me know, thanks

I can't believe my eyes when I stumbled acrossed this site. I have been on Levothyroxine for a little over month now and about 3 weeks ago I started to get severe headaches every morning when I woke up that would last throughout the day, and now for the past 3 weeks straight. I never experienced headaches like this before and I told my doctor who had no idea why I was getting these. She has decided to send me to a neurologist this Tuesday but in the meantime I have read how this drug causes severe headaches in a lot of people so I am taking myself off this drug. My thyroid was only off a little bit and I have never had a problem with it before. I haven't taken the pill in 2 days and I woke up this morning after 3 weeks, without a headache. I actually feel good and with energy. If I continue to wake up this weekend without a headache I'll know exactly what the problem is if I don't already know. I can't stand medication. The side effects are terrible on everything. I like taking the natural way!
