I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis back in August of 2004. I am currently off the Prednisone but I've had lasting affects. I am 14 years old and now out of school and being taught by a teacher that comes to my house. You can guess how bad the side effects got that now I'm at home. At one point for close to four weeks, I could not walk/get out of bed at all, or not even shower. I was in such pain that my back felt like it was going to fall apart. I am not sure what caused this but things happen. I also was diagnosed with a severe case of acne fulminans. Now, thanks to my wonderful dermatoligist, I am back to the way my face used to look before I had this happen to me.
