I have recently started on Levythyroxine and upt my dose to 50mcg...

I just was getting online to google side effects of this drug and found your posting. I, too have started getting muscle/joint pain. I htought I strained myself during exercise, but also just realized this starting happening after I started taking this drug.

I've been on Synthroid 10yrs,but the doctors here in E,Pa/Stroudsburg are jerks! I lived on L.I ny 39yrs,long story why we moved here to our country home!
7yrs of torment! I did not gain weight because I eat alot..I am hypo-thyroid& bec- Synthroid was the reason! I am bipolar however not episodic now Phyc added Lamictal uncovering the truth about why we are! It is no secret that doctor's do all they can to hide from us the info they know has cured millions,those who have an open mind,intellegent people! Sure, we need many med's but there ARE cures for many than more,like depression,vitamins that few even think about! Your dr. will never tell you,or he'd not collect the money he gets each time he writes a script for that company! Synthroid did have a class action suit,but not to do w/ it's effects...too bad,but the jury IS still out on that Nightmare pill!! They have "Amourthyroid" a new..alternative to thyroid issue,my MD shook his head,saying "you have to watch out for "those" things too,you know" when med's have caused deaths from side-effects & natural med's haven't any? "Watch out for them?"Synthroid has mad billions& still it doesn't do anything for underlying issue for thyroid,where it all starts...finally they've come up w/ yrs of expertise and "real" exploration about "WHY"!!! I have cut Lithium to one-a-day istead of 2-450mil's
Lamictal? stopped,as I will not take Geodon AND syn& Lith!!! He promised Geodron/No-weight gain! Synthroid? [27lbs!}!!! What "subtle" lies! He knows "nothing" about Natural med's but tells me Amourthyroid is not good?Look at about.com or any alternative site and they'll tell you "Cures,and What They Don't Want You To Know About"Kevin Trudeau's book,he know the lies from the FDA's greedy vault !
As far as the boy in the news? Kemo Will save him,but his mother is twisted to think,her son will get away w/ ANY pain,bec- she's ma him a coward! His type of desease only need a few kemo sessions,and even Farrah Fawsett went to Europe to have treatment,that is experimental & the tumore DID go! But this is different...and Farrah had to suffer,so why is he different than those little children 2yrs old&up to 8& 9? They're brave kids! That entire story is sick& his mother is killing her son! So are the doctors who are giving altern's a bad idea,instead of telling her,her son needs to have BOTH!! Farrah Fawcett wants us to know that American medicine is NOT sharing w/ the ideas of European,when Europe is ahead of us??Gee,could "greed" be the reason?" These college kids wanna be doctors bec- of the prestige& money & dediction has little to do w/ it!!So why does "O" winfry give thousands to colleges whan animals are being abused..instead both Dr;Phil & she do nothing about animal welfare or wildlife! So,what do I do out there...take this "Geodon' w/ Lithium& Synthroid? Now, "withdrawals?" [Geodon?} just that word alone...withdwalls, I will not fill it! Will it at leaste aliviate depression?
