hello all. i have been taking yasmin for 3 months. my obgyn suggested birth control pills to control my extremely heavy menstral cycle due to a fibriod tumor ( my tubes are tied). since using yasmin, my sex drive has decreased to almost nothing. i am 42 and recently married. i have never in my sexual years had a problem. after reading some of the responses here, i can add that i do have joint pain, nausea, headaches...and did i mention no sex drive! i dont like taking meds and really hate taking these pills as a temporary means of my problem. i agreed to try pills because my only other option would be removal of the fibriod tumor along with my uterus.
