i began taking allegra regularly about two weeks ago and about that time an itching srea began on my right hip. now the itching hs spread to the back of the thigh, across my buttocks, the left thigh, and it has caused many sleepless hours. my new dermatologist said it was only dry skin that had to be rehydrated, so he sold me lipocream and gave me a prescription for halog. neither of these have been of much affect so far.]this the second day. he advised luke warm baths, certain soaps, etc. the rash has not diminished and is more like whelps, than eruptions. i am 74 and never had this manifestation caused by "dry skin". is it possible i am allergic to allegra? anyone can help!!!
