The purple-red bruising I've had along with the thinning skin is ecchymoses - which is listed as a possible side effect affecting 3% or so. Been off Advair 9 days and have had to use Albuterol maybe once daily. Blood pressure is going down, also. Going to tackle the 20 lb. weight gain next. Hoping to see if this ecchymose will go away in the next month.

I have been taking Advair for several years but not every day. I have also noticed a thin skin issue on my forearms.. I cannot wear a bracelet or a watch even, just the slightes irritation will make them look like I've been in shakles! Was wondering if those who have quit the Advair have seen this subside? I don't know if it is the Advair or something else I take? Curious to hear others stories.
