Like many others, I was given a shot of Kenalog for sinus congestion, and later noticed a small indention in the hip where the shot was given. Over the past 6 months, the area has become larger than a golf ball, turned bluish and become more painful. I've recently noticed a small channel that runs from the original site around to the front of my hip. Sitting for prolonged periods is uncomfortable, and pain in the hip joint is frequent. Of course, the nurse administered the injection, and I was warned of no side effects. I'm angry with the drug manufacturer that this product remains on the market. I'm not a vain person, but the defect is noticeable through my clothing, and is truly ugly. Does anyone know of action being taken against the drug company?
