Muscle Spasm

Been taking Flomax once/day for a few years. Now have increasing muscle spasm in upper left arm, which Dr. says is a common side effect. Spasm lasts from 1 - 30 minutes several times a day. Not severe, just annoying - like a mind tooth ache. Have tried various ointment rubs, aspirin, Aleve, hot compresses. No relief. Anyone else have this side effect and has anything worked to relieve or decrease it?
Disablednurse - Flomax is designed to relax smooth muscle tissue in the bladder neck and prostate. What other meds are you taking? This may be a drug interaction.
I checked Flomax in my PDR and muscle spasms were not listed as side effects!......................TRUDY
