What can I do about the nausea from Imitrex?
My doctor prescribed Imitrex for my migraines but the nausea means I can't do much else, even though the Imitrex takes the migraine away. Is there something I can take for the nausea that won't compete with the Imitrex?

That is not true. I am an ICU nurse as well as a migraine sufferer. Migraines are special vascular headaches and need to be treated differently from tension or other forms of headaches. Narcotics are not the answer to migraines.

I have been taking imitrex for a few weeks now and it is great. The only side effect is the nasty taste in my throat about 5 minutes after taking it but than my headache is gone and I feel great!
