Lamictal Severe Anxiety, Loss of Appetite, Back Pains, Flu Like Symptoms, Panic Attacks

I was put on 200 mg per day of lamictal 6 months ago for biploar depression, or so i was told by a trusted psychiatrist. After about 3 to 4 months on this drug I became extremely exhausted, bored, tired, unmotivated, experienced strong suicidal thoughts, and had horrible back pains. I had never felt so flat nor had such little interest in life. I ending up quitting my job of 20 years. The doc was of little help. I began doing some research on lamictal and discovered some horrible things about it that the docs don't want you to know. I am now tapering off lamictal - what a nightmare. Debilating panic attacks, (i've never had a panic attack before), loss of appetite, insomnia, dizziness, flu-like symptoms, and severe anxiety that causes your heart to feel like its going to blow up.
I started tapering off at 50 mg per day per week and found that to be too much, so i have dropped to 25 mg per day per week. I am now at 75 mg per day. I sleep about 2 hours per night, don't have a job, and have frequent panic attacks. it is a crime for doctors to prescribe this drug without telling you the side effects from the medication itself, as well as the effects of quitting it.
