Confusion and Scared Easily

I have just recently started taking Lamictal, I'm on 25mg's and have only taken it for 3 days so far. I have noticed some minor changes in my life. I am a little more forgetful, my gf sent me to the store to get clothes hangers and I came back with a bag of candy and some other things, when I was only suspose to get hangers, when asked "what did you forget" I didn't even know until she told me. That happened last night, and some other minor things. I have read online about this being a serious issue, and am wondering if anyone who started this had same problem but it went away with a more normal dose (100mg ?). I am also noticing that I get more scared easily, even when people aren't trying to scare me, like someone touches me and I jump. (it is also a little harder to compose sentences right now, memory with words is kind of hard) any advice? I see my doctor in 2 weeks.
