No ambition to do anything around the house, lost of interest in his hobbies, he did work but usually took one day a week off. He was always tired and then he started to be very outspoken very hurtful at times and this is completely opposite of his normal personality. After many tests and MRI's they found that his brain has shrunk and the doctors have no answers. But we have heard of an athelete that took Lipitor and cause the same symptoms, the brain fog, the loss of memory etc.

We have been advised the Omega-3 will help restore the side effects of statin drugs. We will see, he is only 60 years old and this has made him like a 75 year old. I pray we have caught this in time to improve his health.

Oldcarpetcleaner - Hi had every thing you mention here plus a heap more. I ended up at the mental health crisis unit. I ceased statins in Dec 2007, I am not fully restored mentally or physically but I an far happier than I was. Now we have learn't the cruel way that everything we've been taught re cholesterol, low fat diet etc etc is a crock of BS, I discovered from cardiologists that full fats creams etc are essential for our well being. Apart from the mental wreckage my pain was such that I was on oxycontin (heroin) pain relief for several years, the mongrels wrecked our lives. I have actively studied this cruel statin fraud since Dec 07. There is no anti-dope persee. Ubiquinol COQ10 in good doses helps restore energy. Magnessium helps strenghten heart damage. Large doses of Vitamin C work as a powerful natural antibiotic and helps restore power to the urine flow. Quality fish oil lots of it 10 - 14 grms a day after three weeks of this along with eating lots of raw cream. milk and about 1/2 lb of butter a week gave me my biggest single mental health elevation. I was far from cured but this calmed me so so much. My wife put up with living hell from me. We both will never ever ever trust a doctor ever again. Good luck for Husband. NZ

Dohbet - Hi.. my dad have the same sickness as well. For his gout, give him a vegetable drink of celery and bitter gourd. Celery can get rid his gout but not immediately. I will take effect within a year or two. Btw, avoid MSG in food product. Do a search on MSG and you will know.
